Anonymous in honor of Mary Angeli Sell

Mary Angeli Sell received a scholarship offer from Wisconsin State Teachers College, a predecessor to UWM. However, like many hopeful first generation college students, Mary could not accept the scholarship and pursue higher education because her family needed her income for basic living expenses. Instead, Mary encouraged her daughter to attend UWM and to succeed.
