To learn more about The Washington Center’s program, see https://twc.edu/programs/academic-internship-program

This scholarship will cover significant portions of the costs of The Washington Center program and in-state UWM tuition for up to 12 credits so that the student continues to make progress towards graduation while spending a semester away from UWM.

To be considered for this scholarship, students must have demonstrated financial need as shown on the FAFSA, be a junior or senior during the time of the internship, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.

Applications are typically accepted in Spring semester for summer or fall internships, but students interested in completing the internship in a spring semester can inquire at let-sci@uwm.edu between October 1 and November 30 to see if scholarships are available.
